Dolphin Energy is a multinational natural gas company based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Established in 1999, it is primarily owned by Mubadala Investment Company, with Total S.A. and Occidental Petroleum as minority stakeholders. The company operates the Dolphin Gas Project, a significant energy initiative that extracts and supplies natural gas across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, particularly in Qatar, the UAE, and Oman.

The Dolphin Gas Project involves extracting natural gas from 30 wells in Qatars North Field, processing it at a facility in Ras Laffan Industrial City, and transporting it through a 364 km subsea pipeline to Abu Dhabi. Dolphin Energy supplies around 2 billion standard cubic feet of natural gas daily, fulfilling a substantial portion of the gas needs for the UAE and Oman. The company plays a vital role in supporting power generation, water desalination, and industrial growth, contributing to regional energy security and economic development. Its headquarters in Abu Dhabi serves as the center for corporate management and project oversight.
