Download the AGenda

South Pars Gas Complex (SPGC) is Iran's largest gas production and processing company, crucial to the national economy by supplying over 75% of the country's natural gas demand. It operates 13 gas refineries that process gas from the South Pars gas field, the world's largest natural gas field shared between Iran and Qatar. The complex includes gas refineries, a power plant, centralized storage, and extensive infrastructure for gas processing and distribution.

SPGC manages the entire value chain from offshore gas extraction to onshore refining. It produces natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), gas condensates, and high-quality granulated sulfur. The company has increased its LPG production significantly and processed over 221 billion cubic meters of gas in the last reported year. SPGC primarily serves the Iranian domestic market, supplying natural gas for residential, industrial, and power generation uses, while also supporting petrochemical industries and oil field operations. Its strategic location near Asalouyeh and Tombak ports enhances its role in regional industrial development and export activities.
