Companhia Energ�tica de S�o Paulo (CESP) is a prominent electric utility company based in S�o Paulo, Brazil. Founded in 1966, it is the largest electricity producer in the state and the third largest in the country, contributing about 9.3% of Brazil's total electricity generation. CESP primarily focuses on generating electricity from renewable sources, particularly hydroelectric power, and operates six hydroelectric plants with a total installed capacity of approximately 7,455 MW.

In addition to hydroelectric generation, CESP is exploring solar and wind energy initiatives to diversify its renewable energy portfolio. The company supplies electricity to a wide range of customers, including major distributors and institutional buyers across Brazil. CESP is publicly traded on the S�o Paulo Stock Exchange and is significantly influenced by the S�o Paulo State Government, which holds a controlling interest. With around 1,470 employees, CESP plays a vital role in supporting Brazil's energy infrastructure and sustainability efforts.
