Based in Cairo, Egypt, GUPCO operates primarily in the Gulf of Suez, Western Desert, and Nile Delta regions, making it one of the largest crude oil producers in the Gulf of Suez basin.
The company focuses on oil and gas exploration, development, and production under a Production Sharing Agreement with BP and EGPC. GUPCO manages both offshore and onshore fields, including significant sites like Idfu, Hapi, Akhen, and Saqqara. It produces substantial volumes of crude oil, natural gas, and condensates, with recent production figures around 26.1 million barrels annually. GUPCO is also committed to sustainable energy, having implemented a solar photovoltaic project to support its operations and contribute to Egypt's energy supply.
