Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) is a prominent natural gas distribution company in India, primarily serving the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi and nearby areas like Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram. Established in 1998, IGL is a joint venture involving GAIL (India) Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and the Government of Delhi.

IGL specializes in the distribution of natural gas for various applications. It supplies Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to over 2.5 million residential consumers and numerous commercial and industrial clients. Additionally, IGL operates a vast network of over 800 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) filling stations, fueling the largest CNG bus fleet globally and promoting cleaner fuel options for vehicles. The company has significantly expanded its infrastructure since taking over the Delhi City Gas Distribution Project in 1999, ensuring a reliable supply of natural gas sourced primarily through the HVJ Gas Pipeline owned by GAIL. IGL is publicly listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India, highlighting its established role in the energy sector.
