Khalda Petroleum Company (Apache) is a joint venture between the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and Apache Corporation, established in 1985. It is one of the largest oil and gas producers in Egypt, employing around 2,500 national workers. The company operates primarily in Egypt's Western Desert, focusing on the exploration, drilling, production, processing, and shipment of oil and gas.

Khalda's operations cover multiple concessions and involve extensive 3-D seismic surveys over more than 3 million acres. This technology aids in identifying new drilling targets and enhancing production capabilities. The company is committed to environmental responsibility, having successfully reduced gas flaring by 40% through gas compression initiatives. Khalda Petroleum plays a vital role in meeting both national energy needs and international market demands.
