The Ministry of Energy of Saudi Arabia is the government body responsible for regulating the Kingdom's energy sector, which includes petroleum, natural gas, electricity (traditional, renewable, and nuclear), and petrochemicals. It plays a key role in developing national energy policies that align with Saudi Arabia�s Vision 2030, focusing on economic diversification and reducing reliance on oil revenues.

The Ministry oversees the entire energy ecosystem, monitoring production and consumption, and ensuring compliance with policies. It regulates companies in the petroleum, gas, refining, petrochemicals, and electricity sectors while promoting local content development. The Ministry also addresses climate change strategies, environmental policies, and emergency risk management. It represents Saudi Arabia in international energy organizations and facilitates global energy relations, including engagements with OPEC and OPEC+.

Under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, the Ministry supports renewable energy projects, advanced carbon capture technologies, and nuclear energy development. Its work is essential for sustainable energy development and maintaining Saudi Arabia's position as a leading global energy supplier.
