NIOC conducts geological studies and manages production from both onshore and offshore oil fields, primarily in the southwestern Khuzestan region and the Persian Gulf. The company produces crude oil, natural gas, and refined petroleum products, and it oversees subsidiaries involved in various aspects of the oil and gas industry, including procurement and drilling services.
