Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) is a prominent liquefied natural gas (LNG) company established on May 17, 1989. It focuses on harnessing Nigeria�s natural gas resources to produce LNG and natural gas liquids (NGLs) primarily for export. As Nigeria�s first LNG project, NLNG has become a significant player in the global LNG market, contributing about 7-10% of the world�s LNG supply.

The company operates a large LNG plant complex on Bonny Island, featuring six liquefaction trains with a total production capacity of 22 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG and 5 MTPA of NGLs. An ongoing project aims to increase LNG capacity to 30 MTPA. NLNG is jointly owned by four shareholders, including the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and Shell Gas B.V. Its core activities include the production and export of LNG and NGLs, shipping services through its subsidiaries, and local community support initiatives, such as providing power to over 200,000 residents on Bonny Island.
