Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) is Pakistan's largest state-owned oil and gas exploration and production company, based in Islamabad. Established in 1961, it holds a significant share of the country's hydrocarbon reserves, with 42% of oil and 36% of natural gas as of mid-2023. OGDCL operates 111 development and production leases across all four provinces of Pakistan, managing 50 oil and gas fields.

The company�s activities cover the entire upstream oil and gas value chain, including exploration, development, and production. In fiscal year 2023, OGDCL reported an average net daily production of approximately 32,478 barrels of crude oil, 764 million cubic feet of natural gas, and 720 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). OGDCL is publicly listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange, with a market capitalization around $4 billion.
