OQ8, also known as Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries Company LLC, is a joint venture between Oman�s OQ Group and Kuwait Petroleum International. Located in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm in Oman, the company benefits from a strategic position along key international shipping routes.

OQ8 operates a modern refinery with an initial capacity of 230,000 barrels per day, which has been expanded to 255,000 barrels per day. This facility enhances Oman�s total refining capacity and produces high-quality products such as naphtha, jet fuel, diesel, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The refinery employs advanced processing technologies to ensure efficient production while prioritizing economic viability and environmental sustainability.
