Z Energy NZ is a prominent downstream energy company based in New Zealand, focusing on the distribution and marketing of fuel products. It operates a network of service stations under the Z and Caltex brands, catering to a diverse customer base that includes retail consumers and industrial clients such as airlines, trucking companies, and vehicle fleet operators. The company imports crude oil, which is refined into various fuels at the Marsden Point facility and distributed across New Zealand via road tankers, pipelines, and marine barges.

Founded in 2010, Z Energy rebranded from Shell to enhance its service offerings. In 2016, it expanded by acquiring Chevron's New Zealand subsidiary, Caltex. Since May 2022, Z Energy has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Ampol, an Australian petroleum company. The company has also ventured into the electricity market by acquiring Flick Electric Co., supporting the transition to electric vehicles. Z Energy is committed to sustainability, actively reporting on its environmental and social governance initiatives.
